FAQ's

Want to know exactly who Strength + Restore is for and who it is not for?

I am 6 years postpartum, can I still heal?

Yes!
Strength + Restore is great for Moms 6 weeks to 6 years postpartum. You are never 'too late' to work on the issues that are affecting you now.

I am planning to have more babies, should I wait until I am done?

NO! This is a very common question and I highly recommend being proactive with your postpartum healing in between babies. It is not only better for your body to support another pregnancy, but you will have a better birth and heal faster postpartum when you don't have other issues.

I don't have leaking or an abdominal separation, is this right for me?

YES! You don't have to have 'big issues' to have the best postpartum support. A lot of times leaking and core weakness can happen months or even years after birth if you don't have a great postpartum program that helps you restore with the basics and strengthen for life as a Mom.

I barely have time to think, how can I fit in a workout?

I know how crazy mom-life is. I don't expect everyone to have hours a day to workout. If you are attending the calls, you can expect 3hrs a week. We plan a minimum of 3 workouts a week, varying in length from 25-45 min. There is tons of support for 'how to' fit it in and getting the most out of your time in Strength + Restore. 

What results can I expect?

Results vary person to person. If you are showing up, asking questions and following suggestions; you will transform how you feel, move, show up for yourself, and think about your body in just 8 weeks. 

What if I can't make the virtual calls?

While live interaction is always way more fun, you're a busy Mom and it isn't always possible. The calls will be scheduled based on a poll for whoever is signed up, they will be on a weekday however. All the calls are recorded and you will have access to the recording. You are encouraged to submit questions or videos for coaching. If you can't make it live, questions will be answered and form commented on. There will also be a weekly Facebook Q + A and an opportunity to ask questions in the Facebook community.

I have a prolapse, is Strength + Restore for me?

Maybe. Prolapse is very different person to person. I would always recommend reaching out to ask Dee personally as per your situation. Dee has helped a ton of women manage and resolve their prolapse, so let's find the right program fit for you.

Do I need equipment?

Yes. None of the equipment lists will break the bank and I always suggest looking around your house for things that you can sub in, before investing in a purchase.
The most common things we use are 2 x sets of weights (1x light and 1x heavy), a resistance band, a squishy ball and a yoga block.

How do I know workouts will be 'for me'?

During the first week, we do a detailed posture and form analysis together. This is to help get you thinking about where your strengths are, where your compensations might be, and how you can really be connected to the success of your results. There are also checkpoints along the way and specific trackers to use that can help you to know if you are ready to progress. 

I've never done workouts that are virtual, how will I know they are for me?

Virtual can be hard, but honestly, even clients that I have that lie 5 min away do virtual sessions, because mom-life is unpredictable.
Strength + Restore also has a variety of ways to help you learn and connect to your body; including troubleshooting videos, visual PDFs, and exercise descriptions. You success, simplicity and ease of use in Strength + Restore is huge. 

What if I want more support?

Just reach out! There are extra support and VIP options for anyone that wants more individualized support, like 30 and 60 min 1:1's.

This seems like a big investment, is it worth it?

Honestly, what's it worth to you to stop peeing yourself? Or to have expert support and 1:1 coaching for a year? To help you out of chronic back pain? And get you moving and feeling confident and capable in your body....
